Over the past 24 hours, thousands of TikToks (at least) have been posted where people share how they just read Bin Laden's “Letter to America,” in which he explained why he attacked the United States. The TikToks are from people of all ages, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Many of them say that reading the letter has opened their eyes, and they'll never see geopolitical matters the same way again. Many of them — and I have watched a lot — say it has made them reevaluate their perspective on how what is often labeled as terrorism can be a legitimate form of resistance to a hostile power. This is not limited to TikTok; similar videos have been posted on other social media platforms. The Guardian had a copy of “Letter to America” posted, but once these TikToks went viral, the Guardian took it down, which has only led to more interest in the letter and conspiracies from TikTokers who say this is part of the media and the powers that control it trying to silence the truth.
The statements contained in the letter are the author's own views and do not necessarily reflect XTechnology's editorial policy.
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“Permission has been given (to war) to those who are being fought (believers) because they have been oppressed. Surely, Allah is able to help them.” (Surah Hajj, verse 39)
“Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of Taghut. So fight against the friends of the devil, because the trick of the devil is truly weak.” (Surat an-Nisa, verse 76)
Some American writers ask “why are we fighting?” They published articles under the title. These articles gave rise to a range of responses, some of which remained factual and based on Islamic law, and some which were not. Here we wanted to summarize the truth as an explanation and warning, hoping for God's reward and asking Him for success and support.
Asking for God's help, we base our answer on two questions posed to Americans:
First question: Why do we fight and oppose you?
Second question: To what do we call you and what do we want from you?
As for the first question… Why do we fight and oppose you? The answer is very simple:
(1) Because you attacked us and continue to attack us.
a) You attacked us in Palestine:
(i) Palestine has been under military occupation for over 80 years. With your help and support, the British handed over Palestine to the Jews, who had occupied it for more than 50 years. These 50 years were years full of oppression, cruelty, crime, murder, exile, destruction and destruction. (When this message was published, approximately 50 years had passed since the establishment of Israel – translator) The establishment and maintenance of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of those who committed this crime. And of course, there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The establishment of Israel is a crime that must be erased. (ii) It makes us both laugh and cry to see that you are not yet tired of repeating your fabricated lies about the Jews having a historical right to Palestine as promised to them in the Torah. Anyone who argues with them about this so-called truth is accused of anti-Semitism. This is one of the most false, widespread fabrications in history. The Palestinian people are pure Arabs and original Semites. Muslims are the heirs of Moses (peace be upon him) and the true unaltered Torah. Muslims believe in all the Prophets including Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all. If the followers of Moses were promised a right over Palestine in the Torah, Muslims are the nation most deserving of it.
When the Muslims conquered Palestine and expelled the Romans, Palestine and Jerusalem returned to Islam, the religion of all the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them. Therefore, a call for historical rights over Palestine cannot be made against the Islamic Ummah, which believes in all the Prophets of Allah (peace and blessings be upon them). We make no distinction between these prophets.
(iii) The blood shed in Palestine should be avenged in the same way. You should know that Palestinians do not cry alone, their women do not become widows alone, their sons do not become orphans alone.
(b) You attacked us in Somalia; You supported Russian atrocities against us in Chechnya, Indian atrocities against us in Kashmir, and Jewish aggression against us in Lebanon.
(c) We are attacked daily by the governments of our countries, acting as your representatives, under your supervision, consent and orders.
(i) These governments prevent our people from establishing Islamic Sharia and use violence and lies to do so.
(ii) These governments subject us to humiliation and place us in a great prison of fear and submission.
(iii) These governments are stealing the wealth of our ummah and selling it to you for nothing.
(iv) These governments surrendered to the Jews and conceded to them the greater part of Palestine, acknowledging the existence of their state on the fragmented limbs of their own people.
(v) The elimination of these governments is obligatory upon us and is a necessary step to liberate the Ummah, establish Sharia as the supreme law, and regain Palestine. And our struggle against these governments is not separate from our struggle against you.
(d) You are stealing our wealth and oil at low prices because of your international influence and military threats. This theft is truly the greatest theft humanity has ever witnessed in world history.
(e) Your forces are occupying our countries, spreading your military bases everywhere, corrupting our lands and besieging our sanctities in order to protect the security of the Jews and to ensure the continuation of your plunder of our treasures.
(f) You starved the Muslims in Iraq, where children died every day. It's amazing that more than 1.5 million Iraqi children have died as a result of your sanctions and you don't care. Moment
But when 3 thousand of your people died, the whole world stood up and they haven't even sat down yet.
(g) You supported the Jews in their belief that Jerusalem is their eternal capital and agreed to move your embassy there. With your help and protection, the Israelis plan to destroy the Al Aqsa Mosque. Under the protection of your weapons, Sharon entered the Al Aqsa Mosque to desecrate it in preparation for capture and destruction.
(2) These tragedies and disasters are just a few examples of your oppression and aggression towards us. Our religion and reason dictate that the oppressed have the right to respond to attack. Do not expect anything from us other than jihad, resistance and revenge. Is it reasonable to expect that we will allow America to live in security and peace when it has been attacking us for more than half a century?
(3) You might argue that all this does not justify aggression against civilians for crimes they did not commit and were not involved in. However:
(a) This argument contradicts your constant repetition that America is the land of the free and the leaders in this world. In other words, the American people choose their government of their own free will, and this choice stems from their acceptance of its policies. Therefore, the American people have chosen, accepted and confirmed that they support Israel's oppression of Palestinians, its occupation and usurpation of their lands, its constant killing, torture, punishment and exile of Palestinians. The American people have the ability and choice to reject their government's policies and even change them if they wish.
(b) It is the American people who pay the taxes that finance the planes that bomb us in Afghanistan, the tanks that strike and destroy our homes in Palestine, the armies that occupy our lands in the Arabian Gulf, and the fleets that maintain the blockade of Iraq. These tax dollars are given to Israel to continue attacking us and entering our territory. Therefore, it is the American people who finance the attacks against us, and it is they who control the spending of this money as they wish, through the candidates they elect.
(c) The American military is also part of the American people. It is the same people who shamelessly help the Jews fighting against us.
(d) It is the American people who employ both men and women in the American forces that attack us.
(e) Therefore the American people cannot be innocent of all the crimes committed against us by Americans and Jews.
(f) Allah Almighty has legitimized the permission and option of taking revenge. Therefore, if we are attacked, we have the right to fight back. Whoever destroys our villages and towns, we also have the right to destroy their villages and towns. Whoever stole our wealth, we also have the right to destroy their economy. And whoever kills our civilians, we have the right to kill theirs.
The American government and press still refuse to answer this question: Why were they attacked in New York and Washington?
If Sharon is a man of peace in Bush's eyes, then we are also men of peace. America does not understand the language of morality and principles, so we address it in the language it understands.
As for the second question we want to answer… What are we calling you to and what do we want from you?
(1) The first thing we call you to is Islam.

Here we call you to this religion, this religion is the seal of all previous religions (completed them). This religion is a religion of unity with Allah, sincerity, the best morality, truthfulness, mercy, honor, cleanliness and piety. It is the religion of doing good to others, establishing justice among them, giving their rights, and defending the oppressed and the oppressed. This religion is the religion of enjoining good and forbidding evil with hands, tongue and heart. It is the religion of jihad in the way of Allah so that the word and religion of Allah prevail. It is a religion of unity and agreement in obedience to God and complete equality among all people, regardless of their color, gender and language.
(b) It is the religion in which its book, the Quran, remains unchanged after other divine books and messages are changed. The Quran is a miracle until the day of judgment. Allah has challenged everyone to bring a book like the Quran and even ten verses like it.
(2) The second thing we call on you is to put an end to the oppression, lies, immorality and debauchery that are spreading among you.
(a) We encourage you to be a decent, principled, honorable and clean people; We call on you to reject immoral acts such as adultery, homosexuality, intoxicants, gambling and interest-based trading.
It saves you from all this, from the situation you're in.
We are calling you so that you can be saved. So that you can be free from the deceptive lies that you are a great nation, which your leaders spread among you to hide from you the inferiority you have reached…
(b) It is sad to say that you are the worst civilization that human history has ever witnessed:
(i) You are a nation that chooses to invent your own laws with your own desire and will, instead of ruling with God's sharia in your constitution and laws. By separating religion from your policies, you contradict your pure nature, which affirms that absolute authority is your lord and creator. You are avoiding the shameful question posed to you: How is it possible that God Almighty created his creatures, gave them power over all creatures and the earth, endowed them with all the possibilities of life, and then denied them what they needed most: the knowledge of the laws that govern their lives?
(ii) You are a nation that allows interest, which is prohibited by all religions. You build your economy and investments on interest. As a result of this, the Jews in all their different guises have taken control of your economy, through this they have taken control of your media, and now they control all aspects of your life, making you their servants and achieving their goals at your expense. This is exactly what Benjamin Franklin warned you about.
(iii) You are a country that permits the production, trade and use of intoxicants. You also allow drugs and only ban their trade, even though your country is the largest consumer of drugs.
(iv) You are a nation that permits immorality and you regard these as the foundations of personal freedom. You continued to descend this abyss until incest spread among you, against which neither your sense of honor nor your laws objected.
Who can forget the immoral acts your President Clinton committed in the Oval Office? After that, you didn't even call him to account, other than saying “he made a mistake”, and then everything passed without any punishment. Is there anything worse than when your name will go down in history and be remembered by the nations?
(v) You are a country that allows all forms of gambling. Companies also practice this, which causes investments to become active and criminals to enrich themselves.
(vi) You are a nation that exploits women as consumer products or advertising tools that entice customers to buy. You use women to serve passengers, visitors and strangers to increase your profit margin. Then you say you support women's liberation.
(vii) You are a nation that engages in all kinds of sex trafficking, directly and indirectly. Thereupon, giant companies and organizations are established under the name of art, entertainment, tourism, freedom and other deceptive names you attribute to it.
(viii) And because of all this, you have been described in history as a nation that spread diseases unknown to mankind in the past. Go ahead and brag about bringing AIDS, an evil American invention, to all nations of humanity.
(xi) You have destroyed more nature with your industrial waste and gases than any other nation in history. Yet you refuse to sign the Kyoto Protocol so that you can secure the profits of your greedy corporations and industries.
(x) Your law is the law of rich and wealthy people who dominate their political parties and finance election campaigns with their gifts. Behind them stand the Jews who control your politics, your media and your economy.
(xi) You occupy a distinguished place in human history because you have used more force to destroy humanity than any other nation in history. You rush not to defend principles and values, but to secure your interests and profits. You were the one who dropped a nuclear bomb on Japan, even though Japan was ready to negotiate to end the war. How many acts of oppression, cruelty and injustice have you committed, O callers of freedom?
(xii) Let's not forget one of your most important characteristics: Your dilemma in both morality and values, your hypocrisy regarding morality and principles. For you, all behavior, principles and values have two scales: one for you and one for others.
(a) The freedom and democracy you call for are only for yourself and the white race. As for the rest of the world, you impose on them your monstrous, destructive policies and governments you call “friends of America.” But you are still preventing them from establishing democracies. When the Islamic Salvation Front in Algeria wanted to implement democracy and won the election, you unleashed your agents in the Algerian army on them, attacked them with tanks and guns, imprisoned and tortured them. (b) Your policy of prohibiting and forcibly eliminating weapons of mass destruction to ensure world peace: This
It only applies to countries that you do not allow them to have such weapons. As for countries you allow, such as Israel, they are allowed to possess and use such weapons to protect their security. Anyone else you suspect of producing or possessing such weapons, you will declare them guilty and take military measures against them.
(c) You are the last to respect the decisions and policies of international law, yet you claim to want to selectively punish anyone who does the same. For more than 50 years, Israel has been violating UN resolutions and rules with the full support of America.
(d) As for the war criminals whom you condemn and institute criminal trials against, you shamelessly demand that your own criminals be granted immunity. But history will not forget the war crimes you committed against Muslims and the rest of the world. Those you killed in Japan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Lebanon and Iraq will remain a shame from which you can never escape. It will be enough to remind you of your recent war crimes in Afghanistan, where densely populated innocent civilian villages were destroyed and mosques collapsed on the heads of Muslims praying inside. You are the ones who broke the agreement with the mujahideen when they left Kunduz, bombed them in Kale-i Cengi and killed more than a thousand prisoners from lack of air and water. Only God knows how many people died of torture at the hands of you and your agents. Your planes continue to roam the Afghan skies, still searching for anyone “even remotely suspicious.”
(e) You claimed to be a pioneer of human rights, and your State Department published annual reports containing statistics of countries violating human rights. However, all this was destroyed when the mujahideen shot you and you then implemented the methods of these same governments that you condemned. You caught thousands of Muslims and Arabs in America and detained them without giving any reason, without taking them to court, or even without disclosing their names. You passed newer, tougher laws.
What happened in Guatanamo is a historical embarrassment for America and its values and screams in your face: “You hypocrites, what is the value of your signature on any contract or treaty?”
(3) The third thing we call on you to do is to be honest with yourself – I doubt you will. What we are calling for is the realization that you are a nation devoid of principles and morals, and that for you these are not something to be followed, but only something to be demanded from others.
(4) We also recommend that you stop supporting Israel, end your support of the Manila government against the Indians in Kashmir, the Russians against the Chechens, and the Muslims in the Southern Philippines.
(5) We also advise you to pack your bags and leave our lands. We want your goodness, guidance and righteousness, so do not force us to send you back as a burden in coffins.
(6) Sixth, we call on you to end your support for corrupt leaders in our countries. Do not interfere with our politics and education system. Leave us alone, or wait for us in New York and Washington.
(7) We also call on you to establish relations with us on the basis of mutual interests and interests, rather than on policies of theft and occupation, and not to continue your policy of supporting the Jews, because this will lead to greater disasters for you.

Ummah of honor and respect:

“Do not be slack, do not be sad. If you are believers, you will be the ones who will prevail.” (Surah Al-i Imran, verse 139)
Ummah of martyrdom; Ummah that desires death more than you desire life:
“Do not consider those who are killed in the way of Allah to be dead! On the contrary, they are alive in the sight of their Lord and are receiving sustenance. They are joyful because they have received what Allah has bestowed on them. They want to give good news that there will be no fear or sorrow for those who have not yet joined them (as martyrs) after them. Allah's blessing and benevolence And they rejoice with the good news that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.” (Surah Al-i Imran, verses 169-171)
The nation of victory and success that Allah promised:
